Full Time Commercial Painter

Job Description: Painting, Waterproofing/ coating and other work on steel, wood, concrete, and other surfaces. Projects may include municipalities, State facilities, Navy Bases, Schools, Offices, Churches, other industrial and commercial structures. Many of these projects pay PREVAILING WAGES!

This job involves travel to the job site in Connecticut, RI and Western Massachusetts in a company vehicle or candidate's own transportation.

On-the-job specific training will be provided to the qualified candidate. A clean, current driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the tri-state area are requirements, as is a self-motivated work ethic.

We REQUIRE:

• No LESS than three years of Commercial / Industrial Painting Experience with great references!
• Ability to Paint cleanly and efficiently
• Reliable transportation
• A Great attitude
• Willingness to learn new things
• Candidate must pass a drug test and background check
• Comfortable working at heights over 20 feet and up to 200 feet.
• Clean Driving Record
• Must have VALID OSHA10 or OSHA30 certification certified within last 5 years
• Ability to lift and/or carry 50-pound sandbags and 50 pound/5 gallon pails of paint.
• Willingness to work variable shift work regularly, usually 7:00am - 5:00pm with typical overtime as needed.
• Must be able to start immediately
• Must have a Smart Phone with a recent operating system to use to punch in and out of the job

Lead Certification, Aerial Lift certification, and Confined Spaces Certification a plus.
