Challenge
Within this project we worked on historical wood repair and replication, historical painting, epoxy consolidation and repair. We also installed custom copper gutter and flashing installation. We had to make sure to follow the Department of interior standards to the handling of historical structures. We had to complete historical window restoration and glazing of window. We also had to make sure to handle hazardous waste appropriately and removed it due to lead.
Solution
Able to complete a historical restoration on this church which was first stablished in 1652 when seven pillars joined in the church covenant. We made sure to not interrupt Sunday School was began in 1818 at this church and has been running continuously ever since.
