Project Overview:

This case study highlights the successful facade restoration of the Westport Town Hall, a historical building originally constructed in the early 1920s. The project was led by a dedicated team of contractors who undertook a multifaceted restoration effort, including remediation, carpentry, historical wood replication, structural repair, painting, masonry work, and epoxy coating. Despite numerous challenges, the project was completed in approximately six months, including winter work, ensuring that it met the specified timeline.

Background:

The Westport Town Hall, with its rich historical significance dating back to the early 1920s, required a comprehensive facade restoration due to structural and aesthetic issues. The project was entrusted to a reputable lead contractor with the expertise and experience necessary to address the complex challenges associated with restoring a building of this age.

The Fairfield Water Treatment Facility interior ceilings are under tremendous pressure and have to deal with harsh chemical fumes. Over the years the coating on the ceiling has started to shown signs of delamination and falling off in sheets. The facility contracted with Scholar Painting to install an industrial coating system. Now the ceiling will have years of service to come. 

Complete Roof replacement with structural updates as needed were completed on this Pavilion.
