A local municipality contacted us to repair delaminated coating on a bridge railing system over a small river. Our team mobilized quickly with minimal disruption to nearby residents, traffic, and pedestrians. We installed a Type 2 containment system to protect the surrounding environment and followed SSPC-SP2 and SP3 surface preparation standards to properly profile the railing. The coating system included Sherwin-Williams Macro Epoxy 646 as both the primer and intermediate coat, followed by two topcoats of Acrylon 100 applied to all railing components for long-term protection and a durable finish.

Project Overview:

This case study highlights the successful facade restoration of the Westport Town Hall, a historical building originally constructed in the early 1920s. The project was led by a dedicated team of contractors who undertook a multifaceted restoration effort, including remediation, carpentry, historical wood replication, structural repair, painting, masonry work, and epoxy coating. Despite numerous challenges, the project was completed in approximately six months, including winter work, ensuring that it met the specified timeline.
